Detailed Description

Ginger powder is also known as Sonth, is obtained from ginger root. It is a fine off-white or slightly brownish powder that has a strong aroma and a pungent flavour.Dry ginger powder is widely used to add flavor and aroma.

Ginger finds mention in Ayurveda. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterialproperties, it helps improving digestion and is widely used as a home-remedy for treatment of common cold.

Ginger been cultivated under natural conditions by members of our Self-Help Groups (SHGs). It has been sun-dried and pulverized in most hygienic manner and marketed by our women’s Cooperatives.
